Taking on personal projects

I'm trying to do personal projects more.  Why?  Cause, I'm chomping at the bit to be creative with my photography.

Here is a photo that was taken at the Newport Cemetery.  It's actually about 15 photos, and it was taken in the middle of the day.  In brief, I shot 15 exposures at a dramatically underexposed value, and hand held a flash about three feet from the part I was photographing.   Then I took all the images and combined them in photoshop to get this image.

Gotta do this at a wedding sometime - it would be so cool.

It all started a long time ago

Photographing the First 100 Days

Time Magazine has a series of photographs documenting the new president's first 100 days.

You can view it just click here.

I have to say, I looked at these images and just feel so pleased that we now have a smart and mature man in the White House.   In my opinion, he's making all the right decisions.  Has he been perfect, of course not, who said he would be.  But overall we are headed in the right direction, and I so appreciate his leadership.
