From the Workshop

Here is a cool image I shot from the workshop with Alexandria Mauck's camera. Check out her website here. I was demonstrating how using a wide angle lens and shooting into the sun can create some cool affects.

PPA Workshop

I had eight wonderful photographers at my place on Monday for a one day workshop that I taught. The morning was all about Marketing and after a lunch we headed out to some nearby locations for some photography.

Wow. I forget how much fun teaching this stuff is for me. We had a great day, and a big thank you to all who come and contributed with their own, ideas, thoughts, and inspirations.

Back from Vermont

The thing about vacations is, it's tough getting back in the swing of things when you get back.

But, I'm back from a great trip to vermont, that included friends, hiking and rest.

BTW I'm heading out for a week of vacation - going to vermont for some R n R, and to check out what color the leaves will be this year.

Kids Pics

To get these different expressions, I'll ask the kids to jump, sing, tell 'em a joke, ask them to hide.







Every year I do a fundraiser for scholarships for our preschool. The funds help send kids that would normally not be able to afford a private preschool education, especially Head Start kids. So the fundraiser is basically doing school portraits. I love to interact with the kids and get great expressions. Although these are the out takes, they are among my favorite photos. yes, we have the nice smile at the camera ones too, the ones mom loves.

Jess & Steve

Some recent engagement photos from Jess & Steve. I met Jess a couple of years ago. She was in Lorie's bridal party at ocean Cliff, Newport, Rhode island Wedding. I remembered her from both the photo of the bridesmaids twirling their parasols , hmmm, how do you spell parasol. aka umbrella? But also because she sand during the reception. Steve & jess will be getting married next year at the Glen Manor, Portsmouth, Rhode island.
