Trip to Rochester, NY

Just returned from a weeklong trip to Rochester with about 20 High School kids - repairing homes and living on the floor of a High school classroom. I'm whooped. Here's a photo of one tidy guys belongings, about mid week.

JR 's Senior portraits

So I watched as JR and his mom had a verbal tug of war over his High School Senior portraits. Always fun to watch this stuff when it's not your own kid. So we did the standard, young executive portrait and then we played with light, and some serious posing. I'm trying to talk JR into letting me photograph he and his buddies flying through mid air on their skateboards.

An Indian Wedding in Boston

It was an amazing day in Boston at the Marriot Copley, where Sahil & Nisha gathered with about 400-500 guests from all over the world to celebrate their wedding. The slideshow below tells the whole story, from Friday night to Saturday evening, including fireworks, a parade down Huntington Ave, a traditional Hindu ceremony and great food. Click the play button on the slideshow, to get a glimpse of this event.

The TASC Annual Report

Early this past spring, I did some work for the After School Corporation in New York City. They run all these amazing after school programs around new York City, and needed photography for their Annual Report. So I spent a day and a half on subways visiting various programs. One in the Bronx doing Outdoor Education, another in Queens for Dance and Drama - Oh, you noticed Soledad O'Brien. Yeah, we're buddies now. Huh? No not really. Another photographer got that shoot, but, hey I did the Color Correction on the image so it would match everything else in the report. So, it's kinda like I was there, kinda, sorta,...well, no, not really. Infact, not at all.
