The Great Thing about Point & Shoots
Point and Shoots are the little digital cameras that are, well, everywhere. Some pros like to complain about image quality and a slow shutter speed. But the great thing about a point and shoot is, it's always with you. I have a little Leica C-Lux2 that goes with me everywhere. It shoots video, and is virtually silent, so it's great for street shooting.
Analiese seems very interested in my point and shoot.

The Mayan Civilization

We are just back from a trip to visit the Mayan Ruins in the Yucatan Penninsula of Mexico. This little girl let me take her photograph after, but only after I bought a small handkerchef. Her name was Annalisa. She's a three year old Mayan girl.
OK, so we also enjoyed some rest on the beaches near Cancun. But, simming in the caves, and walking in the jungle, climbing the ruins at Coba. that was the highlight of the trip for me.
