Back from Honduras

We are back from our fourth trip to the small town of Yuscaran in the Central American country of honduras. We made great progress in building, but mostly in the building of friendships.

Off to Central America

We are off to Central America again. This will be our 4th trip in two years. I remember the first time we went to a third world country, i was so scared. Now, it seems like going to Miami, only you can't drink the water. We'll live for a week in the mountains on the border in Honduras near Nicaragua. It's a peaceful setting. We are helping to build a church ther, but mostly we are building friendships. This time we will also lay the groundwork for bringing a medical team next time.

I'll be away from phone and email, until February 27th.

What did you do for Valentine's Day?

Well, I found this great deal where I could get a dozen long stem red roses from Winston Flowers in Boston, if I made a gift to WBUR. So I did. I love Public Radio, and I love my honey.... but not in the same way, well, uh, you know what I mean.

Back online

Wow, that was wild. My site was down for about a day and a half due to some internet hanky panky. But we are back now.

SOL Music

Mike And Colleen are SOL Music - as in Soul, as in Nous Somes du'Soleil, as in Sun. Friends who do some amazing music. We spent some time working on a portrait for their publicity pieces. We had fun, as you can see, making the images.

Sandhya & Cliff

Much of my Album design is done by Shawn Simmons, an MFA student at Rhode Island School of Design, and sometime second shooter at weddings. I just received the layouts for Sandhya & Cliff's wedding, which we did this past Fall. Wow! Shawn is so good. Her layouts are contemporary yet simple - not cluttered. We are pretty much done with all the albums for 2006, if you are an 06 bride and you haven't submitted your selections - what are you waiting for? Or maybe, you just trust us so much, your thinking, I'll let the professionals do it. That's fine, but you still need to tell us. Time is running out.
