To retouch or not?

Although I am pretty much a naturalist when it comes to my photography - i.e. leaving the orginal image as natural as it was in the original capture. I do see that some retouching can be helpful. Here you see the before and after for Lauren's recnet portraits. Sometimes people say, "Oh, I like it just the way you took it." Then I show them a retouched photo, and they sometimes rethink it.
